She possesses a certificate in education from UQÀM. She specializes in the field of cosmetology (the art and science of beauty care) and in the skin structure (skin biology). She has much experience in aesthetic and cosmetic sales, as well as business and employee management. For many years now, Monique has been a trainer for various cosmetic companies, and had assisted to and given many conferences.

Tara Gardhouse, Educator/Trainer for Ontario

In 1995, after graduation, Tara began her aesthetics career in the destination spa sector. She spent the next 7 years establishing her craft and gaining more experience in leadership and in a management role. This gave her the experience to later direct a salon and spa team. Her passion is teaching and educating aestheticians and spa technicians. “Knowledge is power”; a slogan that Tara strongly believes in and with that knowledge she brings 13 years of experience to the Baronesse team. Her vast experience in all sectors of the spa industry is an asset to both the company and our clients.

Anna Koolstra-Kelley has been working in the cosmetic industry for over 10 years and has been self-employed in the spa business for 8 of those years. She received her certification from Algonquin College's Cosmetic Sales Program in 1995. She loves the beauty industry and is passionate about teaching other estheticians the latest techniques. In her spa, and for many years, Anna uses all of the Mary Cohr Paris treatments having found the products and treatments so results driven. She is excited to be working with Baronesse Cosmetiques.

Ève Parr
The Road to Success
Ève Parr has been working in this field since 1993. Wanting to share her passion for the arts, she first set her sights on teaching. But life had something else in store for her: the world of hairdressing, make-up and fashion. She first began her career in a well-known salon in the Eastern Townships. Throughout the years, she climbed the ladder and distinguished herself thanks to her professionalism, her commitment and her passion for her work. Working as a professional stylist and makeup artist for sets in television stations in and around Sherbrooke, Ève hosted, in 1999, her own television segment where, each week, she made over a candidate during a show entitled “Enfin vendredi,” broadcast in CKSH.

It was at this time that was recruited by Baronesse Cosmetics, a booming Canadian distributor for the spa/hair industry, and was asked to give training and presentations during conventions. But between the salon, the studio and the presentations, Ève got farther away from her first passion, teaching and sharing her knowledge.

Studio 157
In 1999, still a representative for Baronesse and a freelancer for PIIDEA, an international company, Ève settled in the Outaouais, ready to take on new challenges. While on a reconnaissance tour of the region’s salons, Ève discovered Studio 157. She found within its walls the same values that inspire her… an encounter with someone that you had forgotten: You, the establishment’s mission, were the perfect fit for her own aspirations. In 2000, she became the owner of the salon and began the difficult task of recruiting and training a professional team that would be efficient and meet the expectations of the most demanding clientele.

Within three years, Ève Parr had succeeded in bringing the reputation of Studio 157’s spa & salon to unparalleled heights. Surrounded by a team of phenomenal stylists and master stylists, Ève is pursuing her dream. Always on the lookout for new trends, she never hesitates to join and measure up against the best styling masters at international conventions. Her peers recognize her talent and her collections are more and more noticed.
