Monique Poitras (Quebec & Western Canada) has been an aesthetician for more than 20 years. During this time, she worked in a spa for seven years, owned her own beauty institute and was an aesthetics teacher in both the private sector and a public school board. She possesses a certificate in education from UQÀM. She specializes in the field of cosmetology (the art and science of beauty care) and in the skin structure (skin biology). She has much experience in aesthetic and cosmetic sales, as well as business and employee management. For many years now, Monique has been a trainer for various cosmetic companies, and had assisted to and given many conferences.
Tara Gardhouse, Educator/Trainer for Ontario
In 1995, after graduation, Tara began her aesthetics career in the destination spa sector. She spent the next 7 years establishing her craft and gaining more experience in leadership and in a management role. This gave her the experience to later direct a salon and spa team. Her passion is teaching and educating aestheticians and spa technicians. “Knowledge is power”; a slogan that Tara strongly believes in and with that knowledge she brings 13 years of experience to the Baronesse team. Her vast experience in all sectors of the spa industry is an asset to both the company and our clients.
Anna Koolstra-Kelley has been working in the cosmetic industry for over 10 years and has been self-employed in the spa business for 8 of those years. She received her certification from Algonquin College's Cosmetic Sales Program in 1995. She loves the beauty industry and is passionate about teaching other estheticians the latest techniques. In her spa, and for many years, Anna uses all of the Mary Cohr Paris treatments having found the products and treatments so results driven. She is excited to be working with Baronesse Cosmetiques.
